This is our first garden at this house. Dan has it layed out just right and we are going to try our hardest to grow some fresh vegies and even some fruit as long as the deer and turkeys don't get to them. Ethan & Addi were great help. They planted the melons and pumpkins. They also helped with the onions. We have four long rows of onions, some of every kind!! Don't ask me what I am going to do with that many. Just don't be surprised to find some on your doorstep! We love watching things grow, it makes me happy, wierd I know. As of today we have 1" corn, 11/2 " onions and some potatoes popping up!! I guess you could call us want to be farmers!!

So I agree with the gardening thing making you happy. I am the same way. I go out several times a day to see if there is any new growth.
