Officially The Terrible Two Year Old

Addi was dressed well for her birthday party, we did eventually get clothes on her. I know what you are all thinking...where did she get that cake...Right? Well, I went all out this year and made it myself!! Very creative...I know!! Ha, ha..Addi loved it and had a hard time blowing out the candles. She got so close that she singed her long eyelashes. Woops!!
Grandpa Guymon and Dad worked for several hours on the swingset and swore that they would never do that again. Both Ethan and Addi LOVE the swingset (still not completely finished). Well worth the time and money!!
This is probably where the eyelashes got singed.
Dawsyn, Aunt Kimala and Cole came over for a few minutes to celebrate. Addi loved Dawsyn and wanted to carry her around all by herself. Poor little Dawsyn must have been completely worn out by the time she got home!! Glad they could come...Addi loves them!!

So you see, Addi is officially a terrible two year old!! I believe that actually started when she was 18 months. Luckily she is growing out of her cheek pinching stage. Good thing or else she might have been kicked out of nursery...thank heavens for patient parents and great nursery leaders!!

Some of my favorite things about Addi:

She loves her big brother even when he isn't he kindest to her. Every night she likes to tuck Ethan in bed and turn off his lights. Most often she gets in bed with Ethan and won't get out. She liked to think she can sleep in his bed!!

She always has a love for Ethan when he is sad and a kiss too!!

She loves cousin Ryan (15 years old) and really wants to give him a hug and kiss. He probably wouldn't allow it:) She loves to cheer for him and says "Go Ry!!" We can't wait for basketball season again.

I bet she could be a professional dancer. She has some pretty cool moves.

Her favorite songs are: If your happy & you know it, 3 little monkeys, Popcorn poppin and Head, shoulders, knees and toes.

She loves ice cream.

She is not afraid of bugs and stabbed one with a fork. Then she brought it to me as proud as can be with what she caught!! Yuck...

She loves her new swing set she got for her birthday and would spend all day outside rain or snow and lately wind!!

Aunt Debbie and Meg gave her polish (finger nail polish) for her birthday. No kidding, she carried that with her everywhere she went for 2 weeks. That includes the bath and bed!! She loves polish!!

Addi is very independent. She likes to do everything by herself.

She can out run me. I know that is not saying much, but it is quite scarey. Sometimes I really have to put on the speed to catch her!!

Coke....oh, this is Addi's true love. She loves to share a Coke with Grandma and Grandpa Guymon. Not sure they love for her to share so much?!?

The thing that Addi is known quite well for are her bouncy curls. They are so cute and fit her personality so well. Everyone comments on her curly hair and asks if it is natural. It is getting long enough now that most of the time it looks out of control, especially after her nap or playing outside in the dust storm.

Addi has brought so much happiness & excitement to our home we love her very much. I thank Heveanly Father for her every day. Happy Birthday Addilyn!!
