Well, this week has basically been one of the craziest weeks ever! Here are a few pictures to show the excitement. Kimala, my sister, gave us all quite a scare last night. She and Cole and Dawsyn were on their usual walk up Cedar Canyon when she decided she should faint! Heavenly Father was certainly watching over this little family. We have seen his hand in many events throughout the night. First off, when Kimala fainted, her nephew just so happened to be near by to help Cole get the car and get Kimala to the hospital and then take care of Dawsyn. Kimala couldn't walk or even stand. Long story short....Kimala had blood clots in her lungs....she is lucky to be alive right now! Like I said Heavenly Father was watching out for her! When they got her to the hospital the ER Docs seemed to know exactly what to do....which seems weird to us all. They checked her lungs right away....remember Kimala is not very old....not likely for blood clots! Why they checked her lungs first, we don't know. Anyway, they found the blood clots right away...thankfully. Her vitals were so low they didn't dare move her. They wanted to transport her to St. George or Salt Lake but were struggling to get her heart rate up and her blood pressure up. Scary!!!!!!!!!!!!
Kimala was so dehydrated when she got to the ER that they could not get an IV in. They tried 17....that's right 17 times. This is the result of 17 pokes and a blood thinner. They poked her in her feet, arms and hands. She feels like she has been beaten up. Just for the record Sheridawn, Tyler said you could have done a better job for sure....
Allison just so happened to be at my house and was able to spend the day with Kimala in the hospital. She got these pictures so we could blog them. Al said that Kimala was doing great. She was and probably still is very weak and tired. They have done numerous tests to make sure there are no more blood clots in her legs and they did an ultrasound on her heart to check for any damage. We haven't heard any results back from some of the tests, but they couldn't see anymore blood clots and seem to think that the medicine is working.
As of right now, Kimala is still in Cedar and will be in the hospital for at least 5 days. If any of you want to know more you can email me at megguymon@aol.com and I will give you my phone #. They don't want many visitors for a few days...since she is still really weak.
My heart is full of gratitude to my Heavenly Father. Kimala has been a rock in my life since we were young. She has been here for me in the good times and bad and I intend to do the same for her. We love you Kimala and Cole.....

Oh my! She does look like she has fought in a battle. I guess she has. Tell her she is in our thoughts and prayers. Kiss Dawsyn for me too!
Grandma MayDene told me about this yesterday. How scary. I hope she is getting better. She is in our prayers. Those pictures are terrible too...how sad!
Oh my goodness!! We will be praying for her. What an ordeal to have to go through. Thank you for posting. We had no idea.
