Any of you get Bountiful Baskets? Well, we do here in my town...and last week we got kumquats. They are little tiny oranges that are sour..sour! So I found a pie to make out of them. It is so healthy for you! If you are interested here is the recipe.
2/3 cup pureed kumquat
8 oz cool whip
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1/2 cup lemon juice
Mix cool whip and condensed milk together and add lemon juice and kumquats...then put in crust. Let set in fridge for 2 to 3 hours. I am making that part up cause I can't remember!
Graham cracker crust...I made my own and put them in the muffin tins. I am sort of into the freezing thing right now. So, we will eat a couple and freeze the rest. This me being cool! Glasses are Addi's. I forgot mine and the sun was killing my eyes. Now Kimala you can't say that I never put pictures of myself on here! I chose a good one huh!
Ethan had his last pine wood derby last week...I am glad it was his last. He sure went out with a bang too! Two of his wheels fell off and needless to say he won the slowest car award! He had to suck back a few tears...but, in the end he was totally fine with it! There has to be a looser in all competition...right...and it's good for us all to experience. At least that is what we told Ethan!
He sanded and had a good time and Dan added a little of this and a little of that...the things you learn being in scouts!
Addi went to a princess birthday party with her preschool friends. They had a real tea party and everything! I thought it was a fabulous idea! Grandma Guymon saved the day and took Addi dress shopping in St. George. Addi had a great time shopping with G&G Guymon and Uncle Mike Guymon. I guess she and Mike became best of friends! Grandma helped Addi pick out this Sleeping Beauty dress...it fit just right...I guess that means she is a true princess!
