Arrow of Light

Ethan is showing his true scouting abilities!!! He, Addi and Dan have taken up watching man, woman verses wild. They are all addicted. Ethan learned on one episode that if you touch a 9 volt battery to steal wool that it will create a spark and light the wool up. He had to try it and of course on my plastic picnic table! I made him move...he had sticks too that he was going to try and get fire from rubbing them together. Oh the things that get them excited!
Ethan earned his Arrow of Light last week. The Cub Master had a fun little ceremony for Ethan and another boy that earned his. The boy scouts leaders were there to welcome them in to their troop.

It seems like we missed a whole lot of pack meetings or they just didn't have them. So Ethan got a lot of awards all in one night. Yea for Ethan! Now to begin another year of scouting!! This year I am making a promise to do better...not wait so long and push him to do scouts more often!
