Addi is 4!!

Addi celebrated her 4th birthday this week! She has been so excited. She loved everything and was so grateful for each present! That makes it fun! Grandma and Grandpa Guymon brought over a bubble making machine. She loved it and used all the bubbles up that night. Ethan liked it just as much as Addi did! When we asked Addi what she wanted she would tell us a helium balloon machine and a caterpillar that turns into a butterfly! Great choices..right? She chose to have a princess castle cake and I thought that seemed simple enough! I only had a chocolate cake mix and she was not going to have it. We had to make a trip to the store and buy a pink one! My cake making skills are very limited, but Addi looked up at me and said, "Mom it is perfect!" What can I say...glad she is easy to please! She helped decorate it and put some grass on the roof and then really gave it a good dose of pretty pink sprinkles!

I had to work on her birthday, so she spent the day with Dad (who was not feeling top notch). She snuck down stairs where her presents were and opened one while Dad was resting. By the time I got home she couldn't wait any longer and opened them all. Dan made her close her eyes for her big surprise...the wagon. She loves the wagon...Ethan does too! We were glad that Grandma and Grandpa Guymon came and had princess cake and ice cream with us. At the end of the day, Addi said "this was the best day ever!" That is really all that matters right?
