Easter weekend

I am not sure what this picture is all about, but it fits Addi, she is always adding lots of accessories and looking gorgeous as ever!
Ethan finally had his turn to take treats to one of his classmates for their birthday. Lucky for us it was the day after Easter. So I made these little bunny rice krispies. It was fun and pretty time consuming after making 34 of them! This is not my idea, I found it on a blog and can't remember where. I am not taking credit for the cute idea!!! We wrapped each of them and put the birthday girl's in a little pot with styrofoam and grass and some treats to top it off. We wrote "to some bunny special...Happy Birthday." Addi was busy the entire time making her own and Ethan helped me dip all the others and put their faces on. Some were a bit deformed, but, we had fun!
Easter morning Ethan waited for a few hours for Addi to rise and shine and hunt for eggs. They had a good time and missed a few eggs that were hidden pretty well!
Ethan was dancing for us and had stuffed his bum with balloons. It was pretty funny, we don't see this silly side of him that often!
Easter Bunny was pretty popular with the kids when they found a few dollars in their eggs. It turned out to be a great weekend!

I am SO impressed - and not just that you made all those treats but that the school still LETS you bring them. Quincy's class can't even have treats, AT ALL! Love the pictures of Addi's hair too. Cute kids!

I never really asked...but, they didn't turn them away. So, I guess it is still okay to bring homemade treats. These were semi-homemade. I bought the rice krispie treats all made. Seemed easier that way.
