Halloween

In our ward we have trunk or treat on Halloween...I guess I like it. Just not when I miss out on my kids. It is nice because we have hot dogs and chili and then let the kids trick or treat. We had about 200 people there this year. So Addi was a pup cake as she would call it...no it isn't the one from Pottery Barn...but isn't it just as cute? Ethan was a witch. He didn't like the thought of being a girl. I told him that was the whole reason for Halloween to try and trick people. Addi won the best costume prize...she came up to me and said, "Mom, everyone keeps telling me how cute I am...I am cute, huh!" She was very proud of her prize.

Ethan even wore my boots...ha...he couldn't walk in them very well. When I told him to lift his hair up so I could fix his costume he was so awkward. It was funny. Obviously, he is not a girl! After trunk or treat Dan drove all the kids around town for awhile. Addi was completely worn out and didn't care to trick or treat anymore!

We did carve pumpkins this year...thanks to Allison for sending pumpkins our way. Addi and Ethan loved it.
It was especially nice when Ethan did it all on his own not wanting any help! I am not much help anyway...but Dan was with Addi! It was a great Halloween. We got a little spooking in. The kids of course loved that. Addi knocked and ran at Grandma Guymon's door for about a week after that, even when we were just visiting!
