Fishing at Yankee

Ethan picked up fishing this summer. He pretty much became addicted to it. He fished at the kid's pond in Parowan a lot. I think he wore out his fishin buddies though. We decided to take a picnic up to the Yankee and try out fishing there. Addi had a good time throwing rocks into the water. I wonder why Ethan didn't catch anything?
We cooked hot dogs and beans for dinner. Nice! Ethan was a little disappointed that he couldn't start a fire. Luckily Dan's little stove lit on it's own cause we forgot matches!!!


The kids both really like to be outside. It turned out to be a fun night even though no fish were caught.
