San Diego at the beach

We went with Randy and Heather and their family to San Diego in June this year. We had a great time. We stayed right on the beach. The kids loved playing in the water. Addi thought she was floating when the waves would come up. It was funny to watch.
Ethan mastered skim boarding. He and Adam spent many hours wading out and riding the waves back in. It was Ethan's favorite part!
Addi thought she could do it too. Funny how she stayed in that same spot the entire time!

They loved digging in the sand and gathering sea shells. Notice all the seaweed behind Addi. There was a ton of it everywhere. It was really gross and it attracts flies like crazy! I don't think it bothered anyone else but me though.
